From Numbers to Story
While we’re often called upon for our mathematical proficiency, it is often the understanding of numbers and people that provides our clients with the most value.
We are expert advisors
Between conducting research, studying human behaviour and analysing data, our talents lie in being able to bring this together into a narrative. This not only helps with discovering the root of issues, but to predict and prevent future difficulties from arising. As expert witnesses we are trusted advisors to the legal profession.

We have been working NHQB on a rapid response statistical audit methodology. Oldfield Consultancy have constructed an audit methodology to ensure that new build houses are not only held to a code but that quality is improved in this industry. A model was produced to enable the allocation of developers to audit. Developers have to be held to account for what they provide and this is a welcome step forwards for many new home buyers.

A full show revamp for an upcoming series
2019
The incentivisation of players, psychology and human behaviour came into play here. What would you do if you were faced with a choice? Leave or double your money? Oldfield Consultancy was interested to find out. We designed and produced the complex statistics required in order to analyse this problem efficiently. These statistics were then examined from a human-centric view with behavioural and psychological input and reported in a transparent and readable manner.
The analytical solutions were verified and tested, then presented in context. This led to an invitation to observe the filming and following up on the decisions made based on our analysis. We will leave you to guess the specific show!
Case Study: NATO
Statistical Survey Input
2016-2017
Oldfield Consultancy was asked to provide expertise on statistical survey methodology alongside contextual analysis. Afghanistan was being monitored for peacekeeping activity and as part of that a survey was completed by various citizens to indicate attitudes, hopes and fears relating to this transition. In order to full conduct a robust study we engaged with the culture and the set up of law and tribes within Afghanistan. This work led to a survey that collected robust statistical data on attitudes and recent developments. This data was invaluable in order to conduct peacekeeping activities alongside working with the population.
